We went to Six Flags the last day of Spring Break which was Monday, the 7th of April 2008. We had a blast. Here pictured were Sophia, Nate, and I in one of the roller coaster rides. But it was Nate who braved to ride all coasters with me until closing time.

Last Saturday the 15th of March 2008, the kids and I drove to Dublin where Mary Kate and I used to live. We visited Dublin for the St. Patrick festivities. We passed by the house where we first lived and took a picture of it. The kids and I had fun.

The annual Villamor Family Reunion was held at my brother Butch's house this past year. We had a blast seeing family and cousins. The photo above was of my family: my wife Mary Kate, daughter Sophia, and son Nate. I am so blessed to have these three in my life.

I had fun on my 41st birthday. My wife and children and a few friends surprised me at the McMinn's house and then ate some Blue Bell Birthday Cake Ice Cream. This photo was taken later on at my house eating some more ice cream. Yum!

Power of the Transformer

Yesterday Nate bought a Transformer for a friend's birthday party. It just happened to be the Transformer that Nate wants to buy next. I kept telling him he had to save up his allowance to get it...which frustrated him but he did good about it....he didn't get so frustrated that I had to crack my whip or anything.

So at 230am this morning he comes into our room. We don't mind if they crawl into bed with us. I thought he might have had a bad dream or something and would just snuggle next to me and go back to sleep. Well....instead of snuggling he wiggled and tossed and turned. I was growing agitated(so was Richard and he already said his Filipino swear words-they aren't really swear words but they sound angry;)- and asked him if he needed to use the bathroom. He got up, went in the bathroom and came out saying he already did. So he gets back in bed. Then he keeps wiggling and then tells me...

"mom I want to get up and do something"

"Nate....it is 330am! What are you going to do?"

"Play the computer or something."

I tell him "NO...now go to sleep!!" and roll over and try to do so myself. Then 15 minutes later he tells me he needs to go to the bathroom and this time he really does. Then I decide to march him back to his room so he can toss and turn with his stuffed animals. When we get to his room I find the Trnasformer(still in the package) on his bed. I am guessing he went to bed dreaming of when he would have one of those and maybe he woke up because he was kicking the toy in his sleep. And when he woke up he couldn't stop thinking about that Transformer! Funny kid!

Sons of LaFayette Christmas Concert

I joined The Sons of LaFayette Male Choir 2 years back and enjoyed singing with them. This past Christmas we had a joint concert with the LaGrange Symphony Orchestra. It was a success and received raved reviews in the local newspaper. My family and friends were in attendance. Pictured above were some of our friends and Sophia giving me a hug after the concert.
